Photo Gallery & Photographic Tips

Southeast Alaska is a photographers dream. From beautiful sunrises to incredible opportunities to photograph wildlife up close, there is something for everyone to capture digitally, or on film. Here are a few tips that we recommend, when you bring your camera on your five day adventure:

  • pack plenty of film or as many memory cards and batteries as you can
  • a few oversized zip-lock plastic bags for your camera gear is a good approach, during times of small boat travel
  • bring a tripod if you don't mind traveling with it

On your five day southeastern Alaska adventure, you'll see brown bears, whales, deer, and other native animals to the area. Depending on the type of camera you own, a screw-on polarizing filter can provide you with many pleasing photo results, but it is not necessary nor a requirement to have.
