How do you relate the Alaska experience to
those that have never visited this last frontier? You can tell
of the abundant wildlife and the natural beauty of the forests,
mountains, oceans and glaciers. The incredible fishing is worthy
of mention. You can speak of the vastness of the largest US state.
You might even mention the pristine streams and rivers that flow
to the sea.
To feel the true Alaska experience one must live these
things - even if it is just for a short while.
To soak up the beauty or to relax in the glow of an Alaskan sunset
in a secluded cove with friends is what it's all about.
Each day we are underway onboard the Adventurous
feels like the first day of the rest of our lives. To smell and
breathe the ocean salt air, or to hear the gentle lapping of waves
against the bow is just an experience that is hard to match.
Out of the corner of your eye an eagle dips down and
glides courageously near. Holding your breath, you watch in awe.
Her wings are spread fully as she glides down to the bay searching
for food to take back to the nest. In a blink
of an eye she's clutching in her sharp talons what she came for.
It's then, when you understand what
you have witnessed, this incredible
specimen of wildlife in flight, that you suddenly realize you've
experienced something very special in Southeastern Alaska.
It's an
experience and memory that will stay with you forever.
We promise.
