Fishing Report for 9/9/2006 - The Bessette Boys with "Tex" Collins and Brian Long!

September is here and the streams are loaded with fish! The Bessette Boys were in town last week; Roland was joined by his brother Paul (uncle Pauly) and sons Darren, and Ryan (flaco). Also along for the week was good friends Peter Collins (Tex) and Brian Long

The week started off with a bang landing several late season King Salmon and Cohos from the Adventurous. Halibut fishing also proved to be reasonably successful with the guys landing a limit of flat fish on the second day with uncle Pauly's fish being the largest at 100 pounds! Great job Paul!  

With a great load of shrimp and a limit of cohos on the fly we turned to the streams and found them loaded with fish. Chums, pinks and cohos provided the guys with great action. Fishing remote water sheds on northern Baranof the crew had the chance to see Brown bears up close and personal, experience wild rides in the jet boat and non-stop fly and light tackle fishing!   What a great week that included a super variety of fishing and experiences here onboard the Adventurous.
