Fishing Reports for 7/16/2006 thru - 8/10/2006
Lituya Bay, Inside Passage, & the "Idaho Boys"

The last month has been filled with great pink and coho salmon fishing, as well as some excellent halibut fishing. Just another typical trip for the Adventurous! One of the most exciting advantages to working in Southeast Alaska is sharing the areas nearly indescribable beauty and diversity with people that have never visited!

Beginning July 16, the Smith group joined us for a week of fishing and exploring the outside of Chichagof Island. Landing a limit of Kings and seeing great Sockeye fishing made the Smith trip a huge success.

On July 23rd we welcomed back Curt Duininck and his family for a memorable trip to Lituya Bay . With a less than perfect outside maritime weather report we chose to take advantage of the flat inside waters. Great sightseeing, exploring and fishing filled our week with excitement!

Old time friends and customers in the Weddle group joined the awaiting Adventurous in Lituya July 30th. Once again we chose to enjoy the flat water and sensational fishing of the inside passage. Landing Halibut, Coho, and King Salmon made the trip a huge success!

August 6 th we welcomed back the “Idaho Boys”. Fly fishing for Pink Salmon, Chums dominated our trip which took us over the top of the Baranof to Baranof Warm Springs. The crew also had the chance to enjoy some good Coho fishing in the salt water and even land a several late season King Salmon. Grant Kolnes rounded off the week landing a 130# halibut at anchor on our last night at anchor!

It has been a great month full of Adventure and we look forward to another sensational month of fishing here in Southeast Alaska .

We look forward to seeing all of our guest on their next Adventure in Southeast Alaska!

All the best to my friends this last month!
