Fishing Report for 5/18/2007 - The Tony Bos Group visits the Adventurous!

Steelhead fishing started off hot when Stan had three fish to the bank before the second group made it up the river in the jet boat. The day continued on a super tempo, landing beautiful Steelhead in every hole of the first river! The week continued to be exciting finding fish on all of the streams and landing fish in all but one! To round off a great week of fishing and exploring we found the time to drop in and to a half day of Salmon fishing, and found the Kings hungry and willing to bite and within 3 hours had our limit of nice size fish!

Last week we welcomed back Tony and Mary Bos. Tony and Mary were Joined buy their two daughters and son in laws, Derek and Lara Herrema, and Fred and Lynn Schakel! It is the King Salmon time of year and King Salmon we found, landing 14 Kings in the first day! After a great party at the hot tubs we found the second day of fishing a bit slower landing only 7 Kings so we made a move north to find a wide open early morning bite on the third day! With Salmon sealed and in the freezer we headed even further north in search of shrimp, crab, stream fishing and hiking! Fishing and exploring streams we found Dollie Varden and Rainbow trout, snow on the trails and a half frozen lake! The shrimp and Crab also cooperated to provide us with some fantastic Adventurous style meals! Congratulations Lara who had the King of the week at 45 pounds, betting out her dad by just one pound.

Great wine, good weather and super fishing this group of Adventurous new comers had a great look at some Southeast Alaska Steelheading "Adventurous style"!
